Hello Bloggers!
It is funny because I always write these as if someone is actually reading them...
Well, I haven’t written anything on the stream since the Friday before my 33rd birthday… It is amazing how busy life can get with everyday stuff… I haven’t had anything overly significant going on, just every day life! For which I am extremely grateful! I am not one who needs drama in my life to be content.
Well, let’s see… My Mom and I joined a gym! We go very early in the morning, three days a week. I try to go another 2 days- seems there is always something to do! I haven’t lost any weight, I do believe it is shifting though!
I feel better anyway! I am really beginning to have more energy and that is important! Very glad we did that!
Hmmm… last I recall I was debating what to read next. As it turns out neither of the two people who offered to let me borrow Dan Brown’s ‘Angels and Demons’ knew where the book was! Apparently one loaned it to someone else (and cannot remember who) and the other had borrowed it from someone! Geez! Looks like I will have to borrow it from the library. I am okay with that! I did read Mitch Albom’s “The Five People You Meet in Heaven.” That was a very quick read. Another quick one was “An Angel’s Story.” That was adorable! It is the story of Jesus (the delivery of the seed to Mary’s womb) through the eyes of Gabriel. LOVED IT!
Unfortunately I haven’t gotten into anything else, as yet. I picked out a few books (and received them) for Christmas that I am looking forward to. They aren’t typical novels though… one of them “90 Minutes in Heaven” should be very good! “A true story of life and death.” :
On the way home from a conference, Don Piper’s car was crushed by a semi that crossed into his lane. Medical personnel said he died instantly. While his body lay lifeless inside the ruins of his car, Piper experienced the glories of heaven, awed by its beauty and music.
Ninety minutes after the wreck, while a minister prayed for him, Piper miraculously returned to life on earth with only the memory of inexpressible heavenly bliss. His faith in God was severely tested as he faced an uncertain grueling recovery. Now he shares his life-changing story with you.
90 Minutes in Heaven offers a glimpse into a very real dimension of God’s reality. It encourages those recovering from serious injuries and those dealing with the loss of a loved one. The experience dramatically changed Piper’s life and it will change yours too.
I am looking forward to this one!!!
Oh… another one I am ready to pick up is “Developing Your Psychic Ability.” Everyone is born with it- you just need to teach yourself how to develop and use it… I borrowed this one from the library before, but am glad to now own it!
Well, I could go on and on when it comes to books and reading… Probably why I haven’t written here in so long! I LOVE to read! I enjoy writing also but don’t ever seem to have anything real to write about. I [obviously] can ramble on about “nothing” for like well, EVER!!!
Anyway, it is about that time--- I better get shuffling off to work now! Have a great day Bloggers! I hope to be back soon! And more frequently!!!
God Bless!
